Testimonials

The teens at Winners' Camp last week were exceptionally polite, curious, smart, and fun! Here, they are learning the "b" and "d" rule (bread plates, drinks). Notice the motivational posters in the classroom. Thanks for inviting me to teach "Manners Can Be Fun!" Kudos to Delorese Gregoire, founder of Winners' Camp.

"My success was immediate. After taking Pam's presentation course, and implementing her easy-to-apply techniques, I conducted a financial planning workshop for 70 women and ended up with 36 requests for consultation.

"I acquired 30 clients from that single workshop. Pam's course was a great investment: My financial return was 9,600%!"

- Gail Smith, Manager, American Express Financial Advisors, Inc.

"Your unique style and super sense of humor make you one of a kind. We know that our Business Banking Officers will be better at representing CityBank, because of you!"

- Lita Viloria-Delahunty, Training Administrator, CityBank
(now Central Pacific Bank)

"After taking Pam's presentation course, my business increased 40%, and has continued to grow 15 - 20% per year, in a declining economy! Pam trains you to be aware of first impressions, business etiquette, and getting your point across clearly and concisely. She absolutely raises the bar of professionalism."

- Geal Fukumoto Talbert, Investment Representative

"Thank you for sharing your treasure trove of valuable information regarding professionalism with our employees. I see so many of your lessons being practiced each day throughout our office!"

- Suzette Nauser, V.P. Corporate Training, Title Guaranty

"Your assertiveness training taught me that I can be charming while being assertive. You are a gifted, effective, highly-enjoyable speaker. You held the group spellbound, while eliciting participation in a non-threatening way."

- Diane Chang, newspaper editor

"Thank you for a great presentation skills training last week. Your supremely positive and constructive feedback changed every person in that room."

- Anders Lyons, The Nature Conservancy

"The reviews are terrific following your sales and customer service session. Businesses have got to make time for quality training. Pam Chambers = Quality. We appreciate the equation!"

- Stan Mulkey, Publisher, This Week Magazines

"I recently participated in a design jury at the University of Hawaii School of Architecture. I congratulated the students on the nearly uniform excellence of their design presentations. Many of the students laughed and said in a chorus: ‘We attended the Pam Chambers class last week!' It was easy to tell which students attended her course and which did not."

- Dr. Michael Leineweber, AIA, Vice Chairman, Durrant Media Five

"The magic for me, in your two-day presentation course, was the way you got the overwhelming support of all 30 participants. My life will be better from this day forward because of the tools you provided in your empowering course. That laugh of yours should be marketed to unhappy souls. You have an amazing ability to formulate sincere compliments for everyone. Thank you for the magic."

- Jack Nagaishi, Safety Specialist, U.S. Navy

"Your session was far and away the most popular we've ever had. Each and every member of my staff learned something new that they wanted to use immediately. Thank you for being true to your mission."

- Sandra Kinsella, Publisher, Spotlight Hawaii Publishing

True Tales from Pam's Presentation Class

From tears to "Show me the money" in six easy weeks!

There came to me a young woman who was so afraid of speaking in front of the class that she stood there and cried. I rose, put my arm around her, and asked the group, "How many of you have ever been so afraid that you cried?" Almost every hand went up.

I prayed that she would return to class the next week. She did. She gained confidence, week by week.

At the sixth session, where people give a 5-minute presentation about their work, she was dynamic! "Here are my brochures. Sign up this week, and you'll receive a 20% discount!"

We gave her a standing ovation.

From ordinary to "million bucks!"

There came to class an ordinary-looking professional man, who admitted to knowing "nothing about shopping." During the next couple of weeks, he shopped in vain for pleated pants that looked good on him, and for up-to-date eye-glass frames. Two sympathetic female students decided to take him under their supportive wings and whisked him off on a shopping excursion. Voilà! New man. New attitude. New confidence!

From quiet woman to club president

There came to class a quiet woman whose manager saw great potential in her. "Can you turn her into a leader?" he asked. "If she's willing," I answered. She accepted coaching eagerly and began to take risks at her staff meetings. She expressed her thoughts and even stood when she addressed her co-workers! Three months later, she was voted in-coming President of her Rotary Club, and thus began speaking in front of 50+ people every single week for a year!

The student who didn't want to be there

He didn't want to be there. His employer sent him. He crossed his arms, scowled, and wouldn't look at anyone. Half an hour later, he admitted that he was "intrigued." Two hours later, he said, "Something I learned tonight is that everyone should take this class!"
